First Look at Blanka: Live-Action Design and Hasbro Wave 2 Figure Detailed
Hasbro's engineering team handled the figure using their modern 6-inch collector platform, integrating pinless double-jointed elbows and knees, butterfly shoulder hinges to enable his low-slung crouch, and interchangeable hands. To simulate the famous electric thunder attack, the release bundles translucent blue-and-yellow lightning effects that snap around his torso and fists.

Wave 2 marks a technical evolution over the earlier release cycle. Collectors responding to early samples of the Ken Masters movie figure praised the head sculpt's likeness but criticized soft plastic joints at the ankles. Early feedback reported by community outlets like Toy Habits and Action Figure Insider suggests Hasbro addressed this tolerance issue directly. Blanka features ratcheted joints along the lower extremities to support his top-heavy torso in feral posing.
