Those preparing for the theatrical premiere should prioritize the original digital material. Watching the videos beforehand clarifies the institutional nomenclature that runs through the film.

Parsons’ complete The Backrooms playlist remains entirely free to stream on the Kane Pixels YouTube channel. It comprises 16 primary installments along with unlisted institutional teaser clips. Viewers should watch them in chronological release order:

1. The Backrooms (Found Footage): The opening hook detailing a cameraman who slips into the dimension while filming a student project in 1991.
2. Third Encounter & Missing Persons: Procedural videos highlighting Async’s internal surveillance logs and missing citizen filings.
3. Informational Video & Pitfalls: Crucial mid-series entries that reveal the construction of Async's "Threshold" portal and show how personnel explore deeper sub-levels.
4. Report & Presentation: Corporate briefings detailing government oversight, proving the story is as much about bureaucratic hubris as it is about monsters.

Audiences who watch these installments will immediately recognize the hazard signs, tape recorders, and lab insignia surrounding Jogia’s character on screen.
