Inside Latto's 'Big Mama' Reveal: Album Bump Photos and Baby Arrival
Speculation quickly turned to when the baby would arrive. On Monday, May 18, 2026, Yahoo confirmed the birth of Latto's first child after the artist shared an uncharacteristically private video message from her home.
Stripping away the glamor of her high-production album campaign, the clip captured the artist cradling her newborn in quiet natural light. "Everything fell into place," she told her followers, her voice breaking during the short upload. The message pulled back the curtain on the anxiety of navigating a high-stakes major-label rollout while carrying a child in secret. The birth announcement drew congratulations from industry peers including Cardi B, City Girls alum JT, and Chloe Bailey, cementing a celebratory reception across the rap community.
