Remember the Titans Cast in 2026: Where Sunshine and the Titans Are Now
Q1: Was Ronnie "Sunshine" Bass actually from California?
No. The real Ronnie Bass grew up in Virginia. While his family moved around due to his father's military service, he was already established in Alexandria and did not arrive as an outsider from the West Coast.
Q2: Why did Kip Pardue stop acting regularly after 2019?
In 2018, actress Sarah Scott accused Pardue of non-consensual sexual misconduct on the set of a television pilot. Following an official union investigation in July 2019, SAG-AFTRA found Pardue guilty, imposed a $6,000 fine, and issued a formal reprimand, after which Pardue largely retreated from screen acting.
Q3: Is the real T.C. Williams High School still around?
The school building stands, but the name changed. In 2020, the Alexandria City School Board voted to strip the name of Thomas Chambliss Williams, a former superintendent who fought against racial integration, and officially renamed the institution Alexandria City High School in July 2021.
