The production landscape of online video looked radically different in October 2011. Fan creators operated in the golden age of the YouTube abridged series, an era defined by raw audio, guerilla editing, and loose copyright skirmishes. Team Four Star, already riding massive acclaim from their work on Dragon Ball Z Abridged, wanted a darker, sharper side project for their annual Halloween specials. Writer-voice actors Curtis Arnott (Takahata101), Nick Landis (Lanipator), and Scott Frerichs (KaiserNeko) selected Kouta Hirano’s hyper-violent vampire anime, Hellsing Ultimate.

The scene that produced the phrase arrives early in the second episode. Seras Victoria, struggling to adapt to her vampiric transformation, needs an offensive weapon suitable for her supernatural strength. Walter C. Dornez asks Alucard what they should arm the former policewoman with. Alucard, voiced with reckless bravado by Arnott, does not hesitate: "Get that bitch a cannon. Bitches love cannons."

The line drew structural inspiration from a line delivered by Riley Freeman in the animated series The Boondocks ("I sent that bitch a smiley face. Bitches love smiley faces"). By swapping courtship text messages for military-grade ordinance, Team Four Star turned an urban deadpan catchphrase into weaponized absurdity. The delivery worked because it captured Alucard’s chaotic arrogance while validating Seras Victoria's immediate affection for her heavy weaponry.
